TREKKING IN BHUTAN
It is no doubt Bhutan would be a good experience for those who love treking. Trekings can be more complet if planned during Tshechus (Local festival season or when the rhododendron blooms) and also add Paro and Thimphu to your trip. March to May and September to November are the most favourable time for the trekers in Bhutan but a week treking is kept at least by a trek lovers. Trekking is the best opportunity to meet rural people on high alpine meadows, scattered villages, ancient forest and fortresses. As per the rule of The Royal Government of Bhutan all trek must be arranged as a camping trips for the very reason of few settlements in the mountains where you cannot think of any lodge and hotels.
We arrange trekking ranging from a day or to a month and even longer as desired by our client. Most of the trek routes are the traditional trade routes passing through remote villages in high mountains and low valleys. Some routes are comparatively easy such as a day trek from Gogona to Khotokha. Others are medium like 6 days like Druk Path Trek (Paro -Thimphu). The toughest are like Snowman Trek (one of the hardest in the world). There are beautiful trek routes like the Thousand Lakes trek with beautiful lakes along the path.

Duration : 3 days Max Elevation : 3360 m Best season : March to May , September to November. Starting point : Thangbi Goemba. Finish : Kizum Standard : Easy. Description in Brief : This trek is best for those who have limited time and do not wish high altitude trekking . This routes takes you to several interesting monasteries and through gorgeous forest.
Duration : 6 days Stadard : Medium Best season : February to June and September to December Maximum elevation : 4200 m Starting point : Ta Dzong (Paro) Finish : Motithang , Thimphu.
Description in brief : This six days trek is possible to cover in just four days and to do that you have to walk at least 8 hours a day. In olden days Bhutanese soldiers were made to march this route in just one day from Thimphu to Paro as their Punishment. We can also cut down the distance to four days trek by starting from Motithang in Thimphu and hiking down to a roadside at Tsaluna in the Bemang Rong Chhu valley. This trek route covers one of the most scenic and popular trek in Bhutan and its routes trail pass several remote lakes. Though this trek route is short but it goes to relatively high elevation over 4000 m and makes it little strenuous. We will provide you detail day wise information on your request.
Duration : 9 days Max Elevation : 4930 m Best season : April to June , September to November. Starting point : Drukyel Dzong , Paro. Finish : Dodina.
Description in Brief : This trek route is most popular and offers some of the best high mountain scenery in Bhutan including spectacular views of mount. Jhomolhari (7314 m) from a high camp at Jangothang. This trek passes though the remote village of Lingzhi , then crosses another pass before making its way towards Thimphu.This route provides you a good opportunity to see yaks grazing on high lands.
The best alternative to this trek is to travel first three days till Jhomolhari base camp , spend a day exploring and then return to Paro visa same route. This avoids the very high passes but still provides you a panoramic mountain views , visit to high land villages and yak pasture.
Duration : 14 days Maximum elevation ; 5000 m Best season : April to June , September to November. Starting point : Drukyel Dzong , Paro. Finish : Tashithang Standard : Hard.
Description if brief : This trek routes follows the same route as Jhomolhari trek till Lingzhi. This trek is the extension of Jhomolhari trek. The trek routes offers you a stop at Natural Hot Spring at Gasa , introduce you to the unusual culture of the Layap people, superb mountain view of Jhomolhari mountain
